Hi, I’m Kelly Boule, hypnotherapist and holistic nutrition consultant here in the Kansas City area. Today, I want to talk about how to make a positive change.
Identifying Aspects to Change
So we’re going to go ahead and start off with you’ve already identified what aspect of yourself or of your life that you would like to change. Maybe it’s an aspect where you’ve been kind of stagnant, stuck. I’d say maybe you’re exhausted and you’ve gone to your doctor and you’ve had some lab work done and you’ve ruled out that, you know, there’s any medical problem for this.
But you’re also noticing that you eat out a lot, noticing you’re eating a lot of sugars and you’re starting to wonder maybe my diet might be affected by exhaustion. So your goal is to clean up your diet by eating more foods throughout the week and maybe having just one cheat night or two nights on a weekend. So that’s the new goal.
Create a Support System
The third thing you can do is to create a support system. So when people join support groups or get a support system, maybe find a friend, a buddy, Facebook, you know, an online group that can help you meet your goals. You’re more likely to achieve those goals quicker, faster, and to sustain your way of eating. Eating differently or whatever your goal is.
So find a support system, visualize it. That’s another thing you can do is visualize your success and use hypnosis. In hypnosis, I do a lot of those things. I work to help support people. I help them visualize. I helped them really see it, feel it and all those good things. So anyway, thanks so much for listening and if have any questions, comment in the thread below.
