Feeling Better and Being Happier

Hi, my name is Kelly Boule and I am a certified hypnotherapist and holistic nutrition coach. And today I want to talk to you about feeling better and being happier and what you can do right now to start that.


Number one, one of the things that I talk about the most is nutrition. Nutrition makes a huge difference in a person’s mind and body. As a matter of fact, more and more science is showing the importance of cleaning up your gut and how much it affects our brain.

It gives us more motivation, more energy when we eat a lot of nutrient dense foods and get rid of some of the junk and sugars and high carbohydrates. So cleaning up your diet is one of the top things you can do to feel better and to be happier.


Number two is to exercise. Of course, exercise again. Science shows all the time, more and more the importance of exercising several times a week. And you don’t even have to exercise that long.

And sometimes when I go to the gym, if all I have time for is 25 minutes to get on the treadmill and do a brisk walk, I’ll do that. And I cannot believe after I’m done how much more I’m energized. So exercising several times a week, really fast way to feel better, to feel happier.

Nourish Your Relationships

Number three is really nourish your relationships in your life. A lot of times we get busy with school and work and things like that. We don’t really take the time to spend actual quality time and that’s with a family member. It could be with a friend, it could be with a group of people. So make time to really nurture relationships. Shut off your phones or computers and really just focus on spending time. And we always feel better when we do that with the right people and the right friends and all that stuff.

Practice Prayer or Meditation

Number four is a regular practice of mine and that is prayer. I spend time in prayer every day. For some people, it’s meditation, which I do that too. Quieting your mind. Even five to ten minutes of prayer or meditation can really have a profound effect on our inner self for the rest of the day and our outlook on life and so on and so forth.

Use Hypnotherapy

And the last thing is, if you have any old trauma, old anger and things like that, that might be holding you back from feeling better and being happier, use hypnotherapy.

There’s a lot of tools out there. Hypnotherapy is of course my favorite. But there’s a lot of tools out there that can really help people with unresolved grief, unresolved anger or old traumas that might be getting in your way of feeling better and being happier.
