Hi, my name is Kelly Boule, and I have been a certified Hypnotherapist in the Kansas City area for a little over 20 years. Today, I would like to talk to you about when is the best time to start Hypnosis. So I get that, it's a very common question.
And the really simple answer to that is when you're either A) motivation is the highest people that come in who are highly motivated to let go of a bad habit, like smoking, for instance, when you get it at your most motivated time in your life, that tends to be a great time to start Hypnosis.
And the other thing, too, Ironically, is when you're in pain whether that's mental or emotional or even physical is the highest. I find that the people that I work with, there are two types of different people that are people that are motivated to change just by desire. And then there's people that are motivated to change because they don't like being in pain anymore. Again, that can be emotional pain, it can be mental pain, it could be physical pain. I find that most people are the most motivated by pain.
So when a person is coming in, let's say maybe they've been fired from their job, they've had a bad break up with a partner, and they just feel like, okay, I've got to do something. I've got to do something right now that tends to be a really good time to come in.
Or sometimes it's people that I help with quitting smoking. Maybe their breathing is poor, maybe they have a lot of problems with their energy, or maybe they're having some kind of other symptoms as a result of smoking and they're sick and tired of it. That's a great time to come in and use hypnosis. But I think the biggest thing, aside from motivation, is your readiness to make it a priority in your life.
So when I used hypnotherapy years ago as a client myself, I was really ready to prioritize my own mental and emotional wellbeing and cleared my schedule for it. Made some time for it.
Anyway, I hope that answers some of your questions about when is the best time to get started. If you have any questions, just comment on the thread below. If not, I hope you enjoyed the video today. Have a great day.
